About the company

TM Contracting Co. LLC is a locally owned excavation company in Pittstown. Thomas J. Mani is the owner. The standard on the logo is the standard on the job: do it right.

The company takes three kinds of work. Commercial site work for general contractors, developers, engineers, and owners who need a crew on one site. Large residential packages that cover clearing, a foundation, septic, drainage, grading, and a real driveway on lots that are big enough to matter. Agricultural site work for barns, lanes, and other new farm infrastructure. That mix is deliberate. Commercial sites are the jobs to grow. Large residential and farm work keeps machines and people productive between them. Smaller residential calls are not what the schedule is built for.

Honesty and trustworthiness are how the business was described from the start, and they are still the filter. If a job is a short backyard call or minor homeowner dig, the crew will say so. If it is a site that needs to be opened, shaped, and left ready for the next contractor, that is the conversation worth having.
